OUR

STORY

In 2014, seeing the situation of the war in Syria and the number of refugees that war was generating, a group of Brazilians decided to do something.

This group of Brazilians then formed the first team of volunteers with professionals from various areas and left Turkey (the country that received the most refugees in the world) to make for the refugees.

When they got there, they were in dire need and began surveying the best strategies for providing support and support to those who lost everything in the war.

It was then that they started assembling teams that would go to Turkey for 15 days, so teams started assembling and going, which teams that had doctors, nurses, psychologists, dentists, and education professionals just started to increase.

From January 2014 to January 2018 over 100 volunteers went to Turkey and Greece.

In January 2018, four Brazilians who were from the first edition of these trips realized the need not only to bring short-term teams but to set up a long-term project.

They then opened a refugee support space in Istanbul that provides refugees with the following services:

English School

Mathematics School

School of Arts

Jiu-Jitsu Course

Professional courses

Borders of Love currently has 20 long-term volunteers living in Turkey who work in the areas mentioned above.
